Bill is a third generation firefighter. He has been a member with Cottonwood Fire Protection District since 1972.

Gabe started his career with the Burney Fire Protection District as a Paid Call firefighter & EMT working a total of 9 years with them. He then became a paid staff until taking a full-time paramedic position with Mayers Memorial Hospital for 4 years. In 2012 started working as a part-time Lieutenant for the district covering shifts, sick leave, vacations, and strike team assignments. In 2014 Gabe became a full-time captain. Upon going full-time Gabe has become the CFDs Training Captain & lead fire investigators. Gabe was also a firefighter of the year in 2016. In 2020 Gabe was promoted to the rank of Battalion Chief. Currently is in charge of Training & FIre Prevention.

Mike started his career as an EMT for an ambulance provider in the Bay Area and then became a Reserve Firefighter/EMT for the Alameda County Fire Department. After moving to Redding in the winter of 2020, Mike began volunteering as a Firefighter/Engineer for the Cottonwood Fire Protection District, where he was hired as full-time Captain in the spring of 2021. Mike also is the Cottonwood Fire Protection Districts Firefighter of the year 2020. Prior to Fire & EMS, Mike had an 18-year career in the construction industry where he became an experienced leader and business manager. Mike enjoys his free time camping, kayaking, and fishing with his family and friends in the outdoors of Shasta County.
